These tasty treats are going to blow your mind because they are so yummy AND healthy! Don’t take my word for it, try them out and let me know what you think!
Here is what you need in your kitchen to get started:
8×8 pan
Rubber spatula
Double boiler (I used a small metal bowl in a saucepan filled with ½” of water)
Krispie treat Ingredients:
2 Tbs coconut oil
2-3 Tbs of honey (to your specific sweet liking)
3 cps of GF sprouted brown rice krisp
16oz peanut butter
1 Tbs chia seed
2 Tbs hemp seed
2 Tbs ground flax
1 heaping tsp of Host Defense Stamets 7
1 heaping tsp of Maca powder
1 Tbs of MCT oil
1 tsp Vanilla
Salt to taste unless PB has salt
Directions for Krispie Treat:
Using a double boiler or a bowl in a pan w/ an inch of water, melt coconut oil, honey and peanut butter.
Once peanut butter is soften and easily stirred, add the remainder of the ingredients EXCEPT for the GF sprouted rice krisps to the double boiler and mix well.
One mixed, remove from the heat and fold in the GF sprouted rice krisps.
Pour mix into the pan and flatten with a spatula to distribute evenly throughout.
Place pain in the fridge for 30+ mins to form.
Dark Chocolate topping Ingredients:
3 tsp of cocobutter
1 bar of 85% dark chocolate (Theo Bar)
⅓ cup of Enjoy Life 70% dark chocolate morsels
Directions for Dark Chocolate Topping:
In double boiler, melt chocolate and coconut butter.
Melt and mix well.
Pour and cover rice krispie treats. Let sit in fridge for 30 mins for chocolate to form.
